As early as the week after the Final Exams, students are now busy enrolling for their summer classes which will start on April 12, 2010.

The start of the general registration for Summer is on April 6-7, 2010 and the last day to enroll is on April 13, 2010. Though a lot of Graduating students are completing their clearance, the heat of the student enrolling for summer classes are overflowing everyday.

The Development   Communication Students under the Visual Media Subject had an exhibit in the Adventist    University of the Philippines.

According to one of the students, Ms. Hazel Balido, they put up the exhibit to let the students of the University realize how important it is to take good care of their heart. February is Heart Awareness month but due to some conflicts they’re exhibit was moved to March. The exhibit presented models such as the heart, foods, lifestyle that causes CHD and a family model that shows that CHD can also be hereditary.

Naging Mahirap

Nakaligo ka na ba sa dagat ng basura?
Nag-Pasko ka na ba sa gitna ng kalsada?

Tutulungan tayo para magka-trabaho

Mr. Villar  sa laki ng  gastos niyo sa Political Ads na halos pumalo na sa lagpas 1Bilyong piso eh naisip niyo na ba na napakalaki na ng magagawa ng perang ito para ma-restore at malinis yung mga rivers and other bodies of water natin dito sa bansa? Eh kung ang owners nga ng ABS-CBN nakakapag-organize ng mga events para sa Ilog Pasig kayo pa kaya na senador at businessman?

At sa tanong na nag-pasko ka na ba sa gitna ng kalsada, aba eh kung binabawasan niyo yung mga gastos niyo sa inyong political ads at inilalagay nalang ang inyong pera para sa pagpapatayo ng mga pabahay para sa mga kapwa natin mahihirap edi po ba mas may mapapala pa yung mga taong-bayan dun?

At sa iba rin pong tumatakbo para presidente sana po isipin din natin yung  kung ano yung mas kailangan ng bansa natin. Oo nga po it is proven that these ads can uplift your ranking pero sana po kung talagang may malasakit tayo sa bansa natin edi sana po mas piliin nalang natin gawin yung mga bagay na mas makabuluhan. Halimbawa po yun mga milyong milyong pera na ginastos ninyo sa Political Ads eh pinang-patayo niyo ng housing para sa mga nakatira sa squatters area edi ho ba mas nagpapatunay lang yun ng malasakit niyo sa bayan at sa mga mamamayan?
Wala pong masama sa paggastos para mas makilala kayo pero sana lang po eh may pakinabang rin po dito and taong bayan kasi ang mga mamamayan naman po ang magbibigay sa inyo ng karapatan para mamuno sa bansa.

Whenever a new communications technology becomes popular, it changes the way society is organized. Society has to invent rules for the polite way to use the new devices. Our social etiquette, our rules of politeness for cell phones, is still evolving.

Cell-phone etiquette apply to most public places. Always try to keep your phone ringer as low as possible or put your mobile phone on vibrate, so it does not distract the people around you. A good time to leave your phone at home, or at least in the car, would be at a funeral, wedding or some event along those lines.

Basic Cell phone etiquette rules include :

Switching it Off :  Know when to turn it off or vibrate it. eg  meetings, movies, worship, seminars, etc .  Vibrate mode when in places where you can take a call, but don’t want to disturb others.

Be Brief : When you get a call and you’re with friends, keep the call short.

Permission : Often, it is correct etiquette to inform others at the beginning of the meeting that you are expecting an important call and get their permission.

Be Polite : Don’t scream : speak in a lower-than-normal voice, you will be heard by the caller, and not others in the room

Don’t Distract : Avoid talking where you may be distracting to others.

Driving : It is not only very dangerous, but also unlawful in most countries  ( even India )  to drive & talk on your cell Phone

It says on “The Purpose Driven Life” where I got all of these ideas that long before we were conceived by our parents, we were conceived in the mind of God. God thought of us first. It also says that it is not fate, nor chance, nor luck, nor coincidence that we are here on earth. We are alive because God wanted to create us. The bible says, “The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me”

God was very detailed on every single detail of our body. It says that He deliberately chose our race, the color of our skin, our hair, and other features it’s all just up to us how we’ll take care of it. God also determined our talents and the uniqueness of our personality. As the Bible says, “You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; you know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something”.

God made us for a reason, He also decide when we would be born and long we would live. The bible says, “You saw me before I was born and scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe. Each day was recorded in your Book”.

God also planned where we’d be born and where we will live for His purpose. Our race and nationality are no accident. He planned it all for purpose. The Bible says, “From one man He made every nation,… and He determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live.”

God had a plan in creating us. It doesn’t matter whether our parents are good, bad, and indifferent. God knew that those two individuals possessed exactly the right genetic makeup to create the custom “you” He had in mind.

Well, I’m sure that your answer for these questions will be yes. Admit it or not, all of us have…

As Christians we should be careful in regard to our words. We should try to never carry unfavorable reports from one person to another. It is cruel to criticize especially if we do not really know the person, even if we do we still don’t have the right to hint or insinuate though it’s really hard not to because finding wrongs thing about other people is one of the things that we really like to do.

Do you think our church has never experienced this? Our church is always attacked by criticisms, sometimes by our church members and sometimes or most of the time by other denominations.

If the association with Christian friends is chiefly devoted to the improvement of the mind and the heart, there will be no after regrets.

Always remember that this is one of Satan’s strategy to mislead God’s children so, let’s always be careful on what we say and do for we do not know what danger it can bring us.

Most of us plan for our future right?  But our plans do not always happen, and most people are also having a hard time planning for their future, their future is blur, indefinite.. Their life is unsettled that brings them stress and anxiety.

Let us always remember that we have a purpose here on Earth, that our life is a pilgrimage, we do not have the capability to plan our own paths and life.

“By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance; obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.”

Just like Jesus Christ, he made no plans when he was here on Earth. He accepted God’s plan for Him, and this is what we must do too. We must stop worrying about our future because God will direct our steps if we will just trust Him.

Most Christians will say “Yes! I know God.. I know Him very well.” To what extent to we know God?

Like Jesus Christ, we are in this world to do service for God. We are here to become like God, to have His character. In order to become God’s servant we must be able to know Him well first.

Our knowledge about God is the foundation of all true education and of all true service. It is the only real protection against temptation. Because if we know God then we have knowledge.. We have the wisdom that we need in any kind of circumstances.

“The knowledge of the Holy is understanding”

Proverbs 9:10

If we have knowledge of God all things are given to us and we will have eternal life..

“All things that pertain to Life and Godliness.”

It’s surprising to know that it’s actually not boring to write blogs about God, I admit that at first I wasn’t really enthusiastic to make religious blogs but as I look for materials that I can use I began to enjoy it and I was inspired by it.

Most people ESPECIALLY the youth won’t really appreciate or at least take time to read something about God. Most people when they receive religious or inspirational quotes they delete it right away without even reading it but when it comes to jokes, gossips and other senseless messages they read it and most of the time save it, it happens all the time right?

I really think that the end is near, that God is coming soon.. So while it’s not yet too late make some actions, help spread God’s words.. You don’t want God to tell you that you didn’t do anything for him do you?

Doing service for God can make your life meaningful and it won’t kill you it can actually make you feel more alive!

We humans are easily attracted to material things like money, jewelries and other more privileges that when they are offered to us as an exchange for a certain work no matter how we dislike doing the task we can still give effort to do it just to get the reward. We always expect something in return.

Do we apply this in our faith? In church? Do we expect something in return when we do something that is of God’s service? Well, most of us will deny it but hey why not just accept it and do something about it?

We can only give our best to our work if we are committed to it, and if we love what we are doing.

Whatsoever is done out of pure love, be it ever so little or contemptible in the sight of men, is wholly fruitful; for God regards more with how much love one worketh, than the amount he doeth.

Let us always love what we do and accept the works offered to us by God whether it comes with a reward or not, for if we do our work with Love God will give us a reward without the need of asking for it.
